What does the onsite fee cover?
This covers our time to go to and from the location, set up and take down as well as our time away from the salon.
What should I expect on my test run?
The reason we require a test run is for you AND your stylist. This will let us test out what you really mean by “romantic” or “volume’ and you can see what a “smokey eye” really looks like. It is ideal for you to bring photos of what you like AND what you don’t like. The test run allows us to play and get an idea of what will make you look like the best version of you on your big day. This is a collaborative effort and we will be asking A LOT of questions!
Why can’t I do the test run on the same day as the portrait?
As we mentioned before, the test run is for us to PLAY. We may do an updo and take it down to do half up only to realize you liked the updo best. If it were the day of the portrait the final look would not be as fresh as if we had done the test run prior. We have done enough weddings to know what will keep you calm and ensure you look your best for your portrait AND on the big day.
How should I arrive on my test run?
Please arrive with clean and dry hair and if we are doing your makeup please come with your makeup done like you wear it everyday. This allows us to see how you feel most comfortable and to know how to best enhance your look!
What if I change my mind on the style before the wedding?
No problem! You certainly wouldn’t be the first bride to do just that. At this point we will have done the oh so important test run and we will be able to manage your expectations of what your hair length and texture will do. If you want to do another test run we can certainly do that however it will incur additional fees.
Do you offer discounts for larger parties?
Unfortunately we do not offer discounts on ANY bridal services. We do weddings because we love it and we are sure you will love it too!
Do you recommend coming onsite or coming to the salon?
This is completely up to you! Mirror Mirror is the perfect place to bring your girlfriends for all of your beauty needs. However, if you would prefer to have us come to you we are happy to do so. If you are on a time constraint you might consider coming to Mirror Mirror because then you will have our ENTIRE team without having to pay onsite fees!
How do I book my wedding date with you?
Once we have received your deposit AND signed contract we will reserve your date. The deposit will be applied to the final balance.
